Pleasantly Plasma is a premier place to pamper your skin located in the heart of N. Phoenix/Desert Hills area. The salon has a posh aesthetic feel, and is tucked away in a secluded, little quaint pocket of quietness, giving you a more relaxed feeling for your procedure. The high-end feel and top quality services are provided in an extremely personable & professional manner.

Kathy’s training, knowledge and expertise gives her the edge to provide her clients with exceptional experiences. I didn’t have a clear vision of exactly what plasma pen was all about and Kathy did an amazing job of assessing my needs and wants as well as listened to my concerns. In turn, she took time to carefully explain the process and options. She does a great job of making sure that you’re both on the same page in order to achieve the desired outcome and her attention to detail throughout the entire procedure was both assuring and appreciated.

Not only does Kathy make you feel comfortable & relaxed, she’s relatable and is an absolute delight! She is extremely talented and does amazing work and I would highly recommend snagging an appointment with her! 10 out of 10 would recommend!

My ultimate goal is to take my skin from “sad and broken” to “happy and healthy,” and I feel Kathy is 100% is invested in helping me achieve that.

I didn’t leave the salon feeling beautiful but, I did leave confident that big, new and improved changes were coming my way. And, the plasma pen Swag Bag made me feel as if I had just attended a red carpet (instead of red face) event!

Also, the post procedure follow ups and concern for my aftercare from Kathy has been phenomenal. She has an absolute compassion for what she does and it shows.

I was interested in the Plasma pen treatment because it’s a safe non-invasive procedure with minor side effects.

A numbing agent was placed on the treatment area and left to take effect. When the area was sufficiently numb the treatment began. Treatment time depends on the size of the treatment area. During the treatment I felt some heat and minor irritation. It can sting can be unpleasant but, it’s doable. Afterwards, it feels like a really bad sunburn and the first night of sleep can be slightly uncomfortable. From the second day on there was no pain whatsoever.

Tiny brown pinpoint marks appeared in the treatment area. This is the result of scabbing and it flaked away over a week or so, exposing a layer of healthy new skin. I experienced two to three days of swelling around my eyes. The down time is predominantly based on what you will or won’t leave the house looking like.

After my procedure I was be given aftercare instructions. Following these instructions is critical for best results and to expedite the healing process.

Everything I just described to you, as far as how my experience went, was exactly how Kathy explained to me it would go so I knew exactly what to expect day by day.

I also feel a need to add this. There are lots of things in the medical spa world that start out being offered as high quality treatments. Before long you start noticing “similar services” being offered at a lower, “more affordable price.” Ladies (& gentlemen) when it comes to your face, it is absolutely critical to make sure you are having this procedure done by a fully certified technician who has invested not only the time in training but, is using the Plasma Pen by Louise Walsh. There’s a lot of things you can “cut corners” on, your face shouldn’t be one of them. What may cost you less in the beginning may very well end up costing you more in the long run.
